Elmwood High School is seeking a dedicated and passionate High School Science Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering an engaging and effective learning environment for students across various science disciplines (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science). This role involves developing and implementing innovative, inquiry-based lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience. Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or Education (Master's preferred), Valid state teaching certification/licensure in High School Science, Minimum of 2 years of high school teaching experience (preferred), Demonstrated ability to differentiate instruction for diverse learners, Successful completion of a background check and fingerprinting, Commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement initiatives
