The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and evaluating engaging and effective learning experiences for a diverse range of learners. This role involves collaborating closely with subject matter experts, faculty, and other stakeholders to transform complex content into accessible and impactful online courses, modules, and learning materials. You will apply advanced instructional design theories and best practices to create innovative solutions that foster deep learning and achieve specific learning outcomes. Skills: Instructional Design Models (ADDIE, SAM), Learning Theories (Cognitive Load, Adult Learning Principles), E-learning Authoring Tools (Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise 360), Learning Management Systems (Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle), Multimedia Development (audio/video editing, graphic design basics), Project Management, Curriculum Development, Needs Assessment, Learning Analytics, Accessibility Standards (WCAG), Technical Writing, Stakeholder Communication Requirements: Master's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum & Instruction, or a closely related field., 5+ years of progressive experience in instructional design, preferably in higher education or corporate learning environments., A strong portfolio showcasing successful design and development of online courses and learning materials., Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conception to completion, within established timelines., Demonstrated expertise in applying instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning solutions., Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences., Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus., Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaborative online tools.
